| Basil, Therapeutic Quality Essential Oil, 5 ml. | ||||||
|
Basil is a highly aromatic plant that produces an abundance of oils that are effective against a wide range bacteria, molds, and yeasts. Like most therapeutic grade essential oils, basil can be taken internally, one drop per day. It can also be added to pasta sauces just before serving to increase the zest and zing. Basil essential oil can be added to liquid soap, shampoo, and conditioner, bath and massage oils, or it can be diffused as an air freshener and purifier. Basil can reduce blood sugar and is being investigated for its potential to reduce the risks of carcinogens.

| Cinnamon Bark, Therapeutic Quality Essential Oil, 5 ml. and 30 ml. | ||||||
The inner bark of the cinnamon evergreen has a long history of medicinal use going back to Egypt and the times of the bubonic plague, not to mention traditional uses in Sri Lanka and places native to the tree. Besides its lovely taste and aroma, cinnamon is a superb antimicrobial and antifungal herb and oil. It can be added to toothpaste or diffused through the house and into the air ducts, basement, and attic to provide protection from airborne organisms that cause infection. It should probably be considered for use with masks used in surgery as well as laboratories and during property remediation, including use of pressure washers on roofs, siding, and driveways. Since it is a bit expensive, the diffusing blend can be considered as an alternative where use will be extensive. 5 ml.

| Fennel, Therapeutic Quality Essential Oil, 5 ml. | ||||||
Our fennel oil is steam distilled from organically grown Egyptian seeds. Though it is a relatively mild antifungal, it is quite effective against Candida albicans and is an excellent stomatic. It is safe for internal use, pleasant tasting to those who like licorice, and it combines well with lemon and lavender. Fennel is used traditionally to increase milk production and libido and has a natural estrogenic effect.

| Frankincense, Therapeutic Quality Essential Oil, 5 ml. | ||||||
| This is the species from Oman, Boswellia frereana. It is wildcrafted and steam distilled.
Being a resin, it does not diffuse as well as some of the lighter oils, but it can be blended with basil, lavender, or lemon to achieve quite remarkable air purification and sensory clarity. It is nontoxic and non-irritating so it is extremely safe for internal and external uses. Because of the wide use of frankincense with cancer, this might be an oil to consider if the combination of concerns includes cancer.
It can be used topically for treatment of wounds.

| Lavender, wild, Therapeutic Quality Essential Oil, 5 ml. | ||||||
|
Lavender gets its name from the Latin "to wash" and is one of the best tolerated oils for topical use though it has a lovely fragrance as well. Besides acting as an antimicrobial and antifungal for skin conditions, lavender promotes comfortable and rapid healing. It is particularly indicated for people who are too restless or nervous to sleep. It can be added to bath water and even laundry soaps to enhance relaxation and inhibit irritating microscopic organisms in bedding and clothing.

| Lemon, Therapeutic Quality Essential Oil, 5 ml. | ||||||
| This oil has been included mainly because of its use as a food preservative.
It is believed that the benefits are achieved by acting on the cell membrane of the molds. Tests have been conducted on many varieties of food mold, including several types of aspergillus and penicillium. Each citrus oil has unique inhibiting properties but lemon combines exceptionally well with lavender
for culinary uses. Topically, it combines well with tea tree. Our oil is made from organic lemons grown in USA.

Lemongrass is a common ingredient in Oriental food and it is an excellent antifungal when used in culinary preparations such as cheesecake or pilaf or any food might require refrigeration. It can also be diluted, 1 part essential oil to nine parts carrier oil, and used to treat topical fungal infections. Besides relieving conditions such as athlete's foot, it reduces pain and relieves lymphatic congestion. It can be added to shampoo and conditioner to relieve dandruff, a condition often caused by fungi. It is also often used to protect against insects, everything from lice to mosquitoes.

| Wild Oregano Oil, Therapeutic Quality Essential Oil, 5 ml. or 30 ml. | ||||||
| Oregano oil is one of the most potent antimicrobial and antifungal oils. Ours is completely pure and one drop in a small glass of water makes a sufficient gargle. The oil is complex and contains many chemicals, including esters that are antifungal. This oil is antiseptic and can be added to cleaning agents as well as shampoo. Use approximately one drop per ounce of shampoo or conditioner. Wild oregano essential oil can be used by people with candida, but the dosage suggested here should not be exceeded regardless of what you read elsewhere. Often one drop every 2-3 days is sufficient to revive normal immune function.
